Sanjay Brahmawar is Chief Executive Officer of Software AG, a global technology innovator delivering the world’s first integrated digital business platform and unique in the industry for its extensive portfolio of platform-agnostic software brands. He leads the organization as it ushers in a new era for digitalization, connectivity, AI and Internet of Things-enabled technologies for the more than 70 countries it serves.

Brahmawar served as general manager for global revenue at IBM’s Watson IoT and managed the global business of data analytics and artificial intelligence software products in that capacity. He previously held GM, Vice President and Executive Partner roles within various IBM businesses.

Brahmawar brings hands-on IoT expertise, a wealth of international experience and technical know-how blended with an entrepreneurial vision to Software AG. Prior to IBM, he served at PwC, Fedex, DSM and Honda. He is a frequent guest speaker at industry events and conferences where he demonstrates the value of the connected IoT ecosystem and his obsession for customer-centric innovations that can deliver unprecedented organizational performance.

Brahmawar earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from University of Leeds. He is a citizen of the world, born in India, and having worked and lived in England, Finland, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. An avid cyclist and runner, Brahmawar currently resides in Darmstadt, Germany.

Jennifer Thomson

Jennifer Thomson,

Research Director, European Services, IDC

Jen Thomson is an IDC research director with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Jen provides insights on the investment strategies and decisions of European enterprises around application development and deployment. Her research explores the new rules for apps dev and deploy in a digital economy; and how this impacts enterprise IT organisational structures, culture, processes, tools and skill sets. Additionally, her research looks to uncover end-user strategies, investment priorities and KPIs to enable cloud first, DevOps and agile solution delivery.

Jen leads the European DevOps & Opensource Practice, and provides customers with a view of DevOps enterprise maturity and strategies towards Enterprise scale DevOps. Jen is also an active member of the Digital Transformation, and Cognitive / AI practices with a special research focus on: DevOps for Digital, Agile business transformation, digital assurance strategies; the role of analytics and AI in DevOps.

Thomson has been responsible for the execution of a broad range of consulting and advisory projects. As IDC's European expert on application development and deployment strategies, Thomson is an experienced public speaker and regularly presents at conferences and IDC partner and end-user events.

Before joining IDC, Thomson spent three years with Compaq Computer EMEA as a senior research analyst. Thomson has a bachelor's degree in international business with German from Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom) and Pforzheim Fachhochschule (Germany).

Accomplished in being able to translate the fast changing technology landscape within the digital transformation era and relating that to organisational impact. Anthony joined Software AG in November 2017 as the Internet of Things Evangelist to create strategic IoT technology partnerships that deliver complete ‘end to end’ solutions to enable broader customer success.

In his role as an Evangelist, Anthony passionately shares his vision for the future world and how technology is helping to shape it in many global forums as well as his own blog posts and with the customers he works with each day. His vastly experienced career has included being elected for two consecutive terms on Dell’s President Council as a strategic advisor and a frequent keynote speaker at large Industry, IT and IoT events around the globe.

Dave Pemberton

Dave is the Integration and Process Automation Practice Manager in the UK and has a breadth of experience in the areas of Service Oriented Architectures, Enterprise Architecture, Integration, and Business Process Management.

Working at Software AG since 2000, Dave has worked across many industry verticals and technologies, architecting and delivering successful solutions for many of the UK largest government and blue-chip organisations from both a technology and methodology point of view, truly helping them ‘get there faster’.

Neil is the UK Practice Manager for Business Process Analysis and IT Management, leading a team of UK and regional consultants, delivering a portfolio of Business Process, Risk & Compliance and IT Transformation projects. He is qualified to MBA level, with over 10 years’ experience of assisting leading organisations to establish full life cycle Business Process Management and Governance Risk & Compliance Management capabilities. Neil has over 8 years consultancy experience with Software AG, designing and delivering Business Process Excellence projects, utilising the market leading ARIS Platform.

Neil will be available to answer your questions on our ARIS and Alfabet Products plus any specific questions around ARIS Aware, PPM and Upgrading to the latest versions of ARIS.

Henry Lockwood

Henry Lockwood joined Apama in 2008, on the adapters & connectivity team. He soon moved to the new Capital Markets Engineering team, and then in 2011 switched from R&D to consultancy. In the years since then, Henry has worked on a range of topics from algo trading, through market surveillance, to supply chain & logistics, and smart living. His current focus is split between customer projects, pre-sales, and managing ongoing development of Eagle Eye – the successor product to the Market Surveillance & Monitoring solution.

Henry will be available to answer your questions on our Apama Product plus any specific questions around IoT, including the next steps your organisation should take, real-time analytics and Eagle Eye (formally known as Total Surveillance).
